The accident in the above figure is caused by the wrong use of the rotating head. The correct use of centrifuge tubes and rotating heads is very critical, especially the symmetrical placement and weight balancing of centrifuge tubes. At the same time, attention should be paid to the large weight of zui solution that centrifuge tubes and rotating heads can bear, and 3/4 of the total volume of liquid zui multi-pack centrifuge tubes. Many accidents are caused by improper use of rotating heads and centrifuge tubes.
Question 4: centrifuge should pay attention to what maintenance, can extend the life?
Answer: After each use, the cover of the centrifuge should be opened to make the heat or water vapor evaporate naturally. If low-temperature centrifugation is used before and there may be ice, wait until the ice melts, scrub it clean with dry cotton gauze in time, and then close the cover when there is no obvious water vapor. If the centrifuge head can be replaced, each head should be taken out in time after use, scrub with clean and dry medical gauze, place upside down, and do not use sharp scraping. The aluminum rotor head should be cleaned frequently. At the same time, the centrifuge should not be maintained and overhauled frequently. The operator should cut off the power supply when leaving. First-time users should consult people who have used it before or refer to the instructions, and do not use it blindly.
